Camp Facility Pictures

Pictorial view of the South end of Camp from the A-Frame Chapel to the Lodge. North of the Lodge is wilderness camping area from "Dug" Creek to the South fork of Paleface Creek.

This is the main Lodge. There are 2 rooms upstairs with 12 bunk beds and 3 single beds with mattresses.

Eating area with 1 large table, benches and a long picnic table. (Please leave all inside furniture inside)

Food Prep area has a large and a small wood stove, (use one or the other... not both) a counter area and cupboards.
Pump IS red? Water is not tested and thus marked as non potable water. The drinking water system has been removed and a "Fire Suppression System" installed. To ensure safe water, you need to bring your own, boil or treat the water appropriately.

Please chop all your firewood at the woodshed. It saves you time sweeping out at the end of your and also saves the cement floor (Not to mention your axe) The more wood you chop outside, the warmer you get and the less firewood you need inside!

Trailer for leaders / cooks (someone that wants to sleep at night. It has 3 rooms. 1 Designated first aid room, Center room has a couch, wood stove and 1 bunk bed. Right hand room has 1 bunk bed and one queen size bed. (Bring your own sheets / bedding / sleeping bags)

Hand wash station and walkway to the outhouses.

One of Canada's finest outhouses. Please note that they do smell from time to time. That is why we insist that you use them, We do not want the rest of the Camp to smell!

24X60' Picnic shelter area has a paver block floor and a seasonal roof which is tied in place Spring through Fall. We leave it hanging straight down for the winter to shed snow and keep the picnic tables covered.

Little doghouse behind the green container to plug your generator in. (maximum 1500 watts draw on one circuit into the Lodge.) If you turn on all the lights in the Lodge, Trailer and outhouses, total draw is about 900 watts.

Bunks upstairs in the Chapel

Playground area.

Can't resist posting a picture of another piece of creation that you notice as you slow down from the fast paced world and enjoy the rocking chair motion of driving slowly down the road!
